 I was introduced to glass art in 2014. I took a glass blowing class as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity. I had no idea that the first dip into the molten glass would ignite a lifelong passion in me. My love of glass expanded to glass fusing, teaching, and learning new techniques. 

The very first glass known to stone age people was used for making weapons and decorative objects (obsidian).  Glass has different co-efficiency of expansion (COE) (expand and contract rate when heated) rates.  I mainly use COE 96 when blowing and fusing.

My friends and family are unbelievably supportive.  I am blessed to have them cheering me on.  When I need inspiration, I don't have far to go.  I find my serenity while enjoying the lakes, trees, and mountains nearby.
